Greenbelt Maryland, July 15, 2015 – Murry’s, Inc. is voluntarily recalling 20,232 pounds of USDA-inspected Gluten Free Breaded Chicken Nuggets produced under the Bell & Evans brand in response to tests by the State of Colorado that suggest that the products may be contaminated. No other products are affected.

No illnesses have been reported in connection with these products.

The recalled product, Bell & Evans Gluten Free Breaded Chicken Breast Nuggets, was produced on March 25, 2015 and carries a “Best By” date of March 25, 2016, that may be seen on the front end of the 12oz box followed by Military times. The product code reads 738985277291.

Murry’s is cooperating with USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service, which inspected the product March 25th when it was produced. Consumers who purchased the product are urged to return it to their place of purchase.
